We work in the CBD and We Eat in the CBD. So we go around hunting for good food all the time.
A couple of years ago, we heard of this special Cafe, though not in the CBD, was near enough for us to make a foray.
Since then, our company has been having our Christmas eve breakfasts here every year and frequently try to bring people there and tell more people about this unique eatery.
Eat & give this very worthwhile enterprise support & encouragement - why not?
By the way - the food is good ( try the steamed Yam Cake & Cheong Fun ) & price is very reasonable.

About Breakthru’ Cafe & Breakthrough Mission:
Launched in 2007 by the Senior Minister of State for Home Affairs and Law, Breakthru’ Cafe offers reformed drug offenders the much needed employment opportunities where they can further their skills and be better prepared in reintegrating into the society.
One of the many services of Breakthrough Missions, the cafe provides 12 of its selected residents the hands on experience and responsibilities, allowing them to build confidence and becoming the salt and light at work to bless their families and the society.
Breakthru Cafe serves up delicious local Singapore food and drinks, such as dim sum, congee and kopi-see. The cafe’s delightful menu of local delights in a cozy setting makes it a regular choice for many working in its vicinity. Diners can also watch screenings of testimonies of past residents from the plasma screen TV.
